Personal Data Privacy Policy

Yamauchi Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) is highly conscious of personal data protection and has provided and strives to thoroughly implement the following privacy policy for all personal information obtained through the course of the Company’s business. It serves as a standard that all company employees must comply with.

■ Basic policies regarding obtaining, using, and providing personal information
(1) Policies when directly obtaining personal information
  • We obtain the person’s consent through legal and fair means before obtaining personal information.
  • When obtaining the personal information of our customers, employees, and so on, we clearly specify for what purpose we will use the information and use the information within the range necessary to achieve the stated purpose.
  • We will not obtain highly confidential information that could harm a person’s interests unless we obtain the person’s express consent or when required by law.
(2) Policies when using and providing personal information
  • The information obtained will not be used for any other purpose but the stated purpose, nor will it be disclosed or provided to third parties, except in special circumstances and only with the consent of the person.
  • When commissioning a third party to handle the information obtained, we will strictly review the said third party based on the Company’s contractor selection criteria, enter into a non-disclosure agreement, and perform proper supervision of the contractor.
■Observing laws and internal regulations
The Company shall observe the Personal Information Protection Law and its guidelines and handle personal information in accordance with the personal data protection management system established by the Company.
■Proper management of personal information
We shall maintain accurate, updated personal information and take the necessary and appropriate measures for managing its security to prevent leakage, loss, damage, or modification.
■Continual improvement of the personal data protection management system
The representatives of the Company shall strive to continuously improve our personal data protection management system for handling personal information based on the results of regularly performed inspections.
■Consultation, complaints, disclosure, etc.
We shall immediately and appropriately respond to any consultation, complaints, or requests for disclosure, correction, deletion, or termination of use of said personal information.
